I’m from New London, Jack was one of the last guys to own and operate a tattoo shop in the city until January 1961, when new zoning ordinances were passed banning them within the city.  It wasn’t until 47 years later, in April of 2008 that Dan Pierce, owner and artist of the Whaling City Tattoo Museum, opened up shop and paved the way for three more shops to open in the city.
